Mill Creek Watershed Council of Communities

The Greater Cincinnati Rain Garden Alliance is an initiative launched by the Mill Creek Watershed Council of Communities to promote Rain Gardens and green design in the region.

• Rain gardens resemble a beautiful flower garden – rain water runoff from a rooftop or driveway is diverted into the garden to clean and retain some of that water.


• Rain gardens offer a simple, yet effective way to filter excess pollutants from storm water before it flows into storm sewers and into our creeks and rivers.
